Suburban Cook County voters can cast a ballot at any of 56 early voting sites through Monday, November 2, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday — here are the hours, the any-site rule, and how to check a sample ballot before going.

Early voting for the November 3 gubernatorial general election enters its final weekend in Cook County, with 56 locations open across suburban Cook County through Monday, November 2, according to Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon's office. Suburban voters may cast a ballot at any early voting location, regardless of where they live in suburban Cook County — near home, near work, or along a commute.
Hours vary by site type. The municipal early voting sites are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday through November 2, while the six courthouse sites — including the Clerk's downtown office at 69 W. Washington Street in Chicago, and the courthouses in Rolling Meadows, Skokie and Markham — run Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Clerk's published information. Chicago voters also have early voting sites in all 50 wards. Site lists and hours are posted at cookcountyclerk.com/EV.
Turnout heading into the final weekend is running well ahead of the last comparable election. The Clerk's Office reported 139,000 suburban Cook County early ballots cast through Tuesday, October 27 — a 30.4% increase over the same point in the 2022 gubernatorial election — and 83,700 mail ballots returned as of October 26, with 9,761 more tracked in the mail. After Monday, the remaining route is Election Day itself: Tuesday, November 3, when polling places across Cook County are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Suburban Cook County residents can also register to vote at any of the county's early voting sites, according to the Clerk's Office.
