Chicago Early Voting on Sunday: All 50 Ward Sites Open 10 to 4, and Downtown Stays Open Late on the Final Day
Chicago voters get one more Sunday to vote early: sites in all 50 wards are open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, early voting ends Monday, November 2, and the two downtown locations stay open until 7 p.m. on weekdays through that final day. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.

Chicago's early voting enters its final stretch on Sunday with a site in every ward. Early voting locations in all 50 Chicago wards are open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and any Chicago voter may cast a ballot at any ward site, regardless of where they live in the city, according to the Chicago Board of Elections' published schedule. Early voting ends Monday, November 2.
The two downtown locations offer the longest weekday hours. The Voting Supersite at 137 S. State St. and the Board of Elections office at 69 W. Washington St. are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays through November 2, while ward sites run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. On Election Day itself, Tuesday, November 3, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Chicago voters may vote at their assigned precinct or at any vote center in the city.
Voters who never registered, or who moved, are not shut out. Illinois offers grace-period registration, which lets a voter register and vote in a single visit up to and including Election Day at designated locations; online registration closed on October 18. Same-day registration is also available at early voting sites.
Mail voters face their own deadlines. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot was 5 p.m. on October 29, and a mail ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day, November 3, and received by the election authority by November 17 to be counted. Ballots can also be returned in person or to a drop box by the close of polls on Election Day.
