Bears at Seahawks Injury Update: Seattle's Zach Charbonnet Returns Monday, Chicago's Kyle Monangai Sits Out and T.J. Edwards Is Back (Chicago Windy City News)

Seattle running back Zach Charbonnet will return to action for the first time since last postseason's ACL injury when the Seattle Seahawks host the Chicago Bears on Monday night, according to a Reuters report via Field Level Media. Charbonnet's return comes less than nine months after surgery on his left knee in February; he tore the ACL during Seattle's 41-6 NFC divisional-round playoff victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Jan. 17.

Charbonnet was activated from the physically unable to perform list on Oct. 22, and this week he was a full practice participant on Thursday, limited on Friday and back to full on Saturday. Seattle coach Mike Macdonald, quoted in the report, called the timetable remarkable and praised Charbonnet's work ethic in working back from the injury. Charbonnet rushed for career bests of 730 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.

Seattle ruled out receiver and kick returner Rashid Shaheed (knee), left tackle Charles Cross (ankle) and running back Velus Jones Jr. (hamstring). Outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (ankle) is doubtful, and quarterback Drew Lock, nose tackle Brandon Pili and linebacker Patrick O'Connell are questionable. Rookie running back Jadarian Price was declared ready to play but had not yet been activated off injured reserve.

For Chicago, running back Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) will sit out. Cornerback Malik Muhammad (toe) and linebacker D'Marco Jackson (ankle) are questionable. Linebacker T.J. Edwards (hamstring) was a full participant all week and will return from a two-game absence, a boost for the Bears' defense in the Monday night game at Lumen Field.
