CTA Adds Sunday Extra Service for Soldier Field and the United Center, and the 63rd Street Station Reopens at 6 A.M.
The CTA's weekend notice lists extra Soldier Field and United Center express buses for Sunday's games, the end of the 63rd Street station closure at 6 a.m. Sunday, and Red Line express running on the North Side until 4 a.m. Monday.

Chicago riders get a busier Sunday and a restored South Side station under the CTA's weekend service notice, which the agency issued for the weekend of Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. The notice lists extra game-day service for Soldier Field and the United Center alongside the weekend's construction changes.
For the Bears game the CTA lists at Soldier Field on Sunday at noon, the agency says it will operate the #128 Soldier Field Express between Union Station, Ogilvie and Soldier Field, with additional #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express service. The additional service begins at approximately 9 a.m. and continues until one hour after the game ends, according to the notice.
For the United Center, the CTA says it will operate the #19 United Center Express for the Chicago Bulls game against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m., and for the Chicago Blackhawks game against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. Extra #19 buses leave from Michigan and Randolph beginning approximately two hours before each event and conclude about one hour after it, the agency said.
On the Red Line, the 63rd Street station closure ends Sunday morning at 6 a.m.; until then, trains bypass the station in both directions and free shuttle buses operate from the Garfield and 69th Street stations, the CTA said. Howard-bound Red Line trains continue running express from Sheridan to Loyola, bypassing seven stations, until 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, and the agency advises customers to allow extra travel time.
