John Washington III Says He Is Done Fighting to Save Political Careers While Americans Struggle
John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, asked where politicians were when the people needed them, said voters elected them to fight for the people and not to join the system hurting them, and said the people come first.

John Washington III, a 2028 presidential candidate, is asking where politicians were when the people needed them. He wrote that for years politicians have passed laws that take more money from people's pockets and strip away their rights, and that now that the same system is coming after the politicians themselves, they suddenly want the American people to stand up and fight for them. "Where were you when we needed you?" he wrote.
John Washington III wrote that voters elected politicians to fight for the people, not to become part of the system hurting them. "Every election, you beg for our votes, money, and loyalty," he wrote. "Then, once you win, you turn your backs on the people. What do we have to show for it?"
John Washington III said he is done fighting to save political careers while everyday Americans struggle to protect their rights and freedoms. "Your political battles are not our responsibility," he wrote. "I'm fighting for the people, not politicians who forgot who they work for."
John Washington III closed with the direction of the relationship as he framed it. "You work for us. We don't work for you," he wrote. "The people come first. Period."
